We are pleased to have you! This site is loosely based off of Detroit: Become Human, but overall, it is an android/sci-fi roleplay that takes place in Detroit in the year 2037. Whether you want to play a human or an android, a police officer or a convict, a scientist or a mob boss, there are many different paths you can take! PLOT

2037: DETROIT, MI

This site takes place one year before Detroit: Become Human. The android/human interaction is fragile, as some humans use only androids in their everyday lives while others completely despise androids. The unemployment rate for humans is up to 34% in Detroit, making tensions uneasy. Androids have many functions, such as being a nanny, a chef, a personal bodyguard, a law enforcement officer, a construction worker, and lots of other jobs. They have not completely taken over the workforce, as there are people still working in those same jobs.

Another issue that is swept under the rug is the thought of rogue, or “deviant”, androids. This has been happening to more androids throughout Detroit, though the reason is currently unclear. These androids will suddenly defy their code and go off the grid of Cyberlife. These androids can seemingly pass as regular humans.

This is where your story comes in. Are you one of the humans whose jobs were taken by androids? Are you an android who loves who they’re working for? The possibilities are endless at Become Human.
