RULES

GENERAL SITE RULES

1. Everyone of every background is welcome to this site. Newcomers, beginner, and advanced roleplayers are all welcome to Become Human. Please treat everyone with respect and kindness. We are all human here.
2. ProBoards enforces a strict PG-13 rule and for every person to be 13 or older. This means we are a 2-2-2 site when it comes to swearing, sexual content, and violence.
3. No spamming or advertising in any board except the advertisement board.
4. You do not need to know the game for you to join the site! It is completely optional. This is an android/human roleplay set in Detroit. We have a plot here if you want to know what this site is about.
5. If you have any questions or issues regarding anything, don’t hesitate to contact Sydney or Madi on Discord.

CHARACTER RULES & REGISTRATION

1. When you register a character, please use your character’s first name in lowercase lettering. This is the easiest way to tag people. You can set your character’s full name when you edit your profile.
   
2. Face claims must be a model, actor, musician, or entertainer. While we do love character art, we ask that you use a real-life face for the character you are portraying.
3. Every canon is available, though in this world, they are not the complete center of attention like they are in Detroit: Become Human.
4. If your character is pending, we will send you a private message. We won’t put that they are pending for the world to see. We will just ask you to change or tweak anything that needs to be worked on to be accepted.
5. Please make sure you fill out your claims in the proper board when your character is accepted.
6. Though there are hundreds of models of the same android, please stick to one face claim/android model per person. The exception to this is for plot reasons, which we require you to please contact the staff team about.

ROLEPLAYING

1. This is a no word-count site. We value quality over quantity. That said, please do not take advantage of this. Give your roleplaying partner enough to reply with.
2. We will do an activity check every month. We, as admins, can see who is active and who is not. If you’re posting all the time and forget to do the check, don’t worry. We won’t put you inactive if you don’t do the checks.
3. If you are absent for a week or more, please post in the absent board. We are very understanding here and it is not a big deal. Real life always comes first.
   
4. You are allowed to make up to four “free” characters before each character needs to have at least three posts. We love making characters here, but every character needs love.
